Squash Ladders
Six free, open challenge ladders for squash players across the Greater Seattle area. Join any of them, or all six, with your email address. Then challenge the players just above you and climb.
Experimental: the Seattle squash ladders are new, and we are still shaping them. Please tell us what works and what could be better in the comments at the bottom of the page. Every suggestion helps.

How it works
- Anyone can join any ladder, and as many as they like. It is free, and SSRA membership is not required.
- Your starting place on The Ladder, Men and Women comes from your US Squash / Club Locker rating minus 0.5: you start just above the first player rated lower than that. Without a Club Locker rating you start at the bottom. On the Long Game ladders and Beginners everyone starts at the bottom.
- Challenge up to 3 places above you on the same ladder. Win and you take your opponent’s place; they and anyone in between move down one. Lose and nothing changes.
- Agree on the date, time and place before you play. Send the challenge from My ladders with a proposed date, time and club; your opponent accepts or suggests another.
- The two players arrange the court between them, including how they share the court costs.
- Either player reports the result on My ladders, and it counts straight away. The player reporting can rate the match and add a comment. Mistakes are put right by a ladder admin.
- Messages stay on the site. Players talk through their challenges on seattlesquash.com, never by shared email addresses, and ladder admins can read those conversations.
