Recap: Gaultier and Rodriguez Clinic & Exhibition

Many of you were able to participate in this fantastic 2 day event, which saw former World Number 1 and 2015 World Champion Greg Gaultier come to town, along with Miguel Rodriguez, who is currently ranked #11.

The Sunday event was a clinic and allowed our local players to get on court and do drills and play games with Greg and Miguel for over an hour.

On Monday evening, the players then put on a great show with an exhibition match that went to 5 games. Miguel was able to pull off the win, but it was a great showcase of raw talent and some dazzling trick shots that gave spectators a rare chance to see the incredible array of shots that these players have (many shots that they wouldn't ordinarily try to play during a competition).

We'd like to thank YSK Events and the Khan family for their continued support of squash in this region. As many of you know, we were lucky enough to have the World Squash Championships here last year. And YSK Events are building on the success of that event by hosting another tournament next year in May.
